Questions & Answers for All Your Party Bus Needs

To help you find the information you need about our party bus rental services, we've prepared some of the most frequently asked questions and answers for you. Please see below. Our goal is for you to have a positive experience with our party bus services team and party bus rentals from your first conversation with us until the party is over!

  • Reservations

    A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF 50% of your reservation is REQUIRED to place your reservation. FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED 1 week prior to service. We do not extend credit, post payments or accept post-dated checks. There will be a $25 fee for all returned payments and non-sufficient funds. Deposit is NON REFUNDABLE under any circumstances.

  • Cancellations

    Cancellations must be made over 72 hours in advance in order to avoid being charged for the full reservation amount. Cancellations made by Island Party Bus for any reason will be credited for future reservations. Island Party Bus reserves the right to subcontract the entire reservation or a portion of the reservation to an alternate carrier or to substitute vehicles to complete the reservation.

  • Billing

    Your time starts at the dispatch location and ends at the last drop off when the last passenger leaves the vehicle. Overtime charges stop when the last passenger leaves the vehicle.

  • Overtime Billing

    The client agrees to allow overtime charges for services to be billed on the same credit card used to secure the reservation. You will be given one ten-minute grace period and then billed for an additional half hour. For example, 4 hours and 10 minutes would be billed as 4 hours and 30 minutes. Please plan your event so that the final drop-off falls within your reserved time.

  • Damage

    The client is responsible for all guest damages. Damages will be charged   at 125% of repair cost for inconvenience and down time. No shoes are allowed on the upholstery, bar area, seats or ceilings.

  • Cash Reservations

    Island Party Bus will accept cash as payment for your reservation, but a credit card number is still required to secure the reservation. ***

  • Cleaning Charge

    An extra charge of $250.00 may be imposed for excessive mess by passengers (this includes excessive trash, spills, beer cans, bottles, etc.). Please help to avoid cleaning charges by removing your trash at the end of your reservation.

  • Smoking

    Smoking IS NOT ALLOWED in ANY Island Party Bus vehicles. Smoking in the vehicle will result as follows: 1st offense: $250.00; and 2nd offense: Dismissal from the vehicle with NO REFUND. Ending the reservation is at the sole discretion of the driver.

  • Coolers

    Personal coolers are allowed inside the vehicle. Please inform your driver if you have items you would like to place in the provided coolers.

  • Seating

    Seating is essential at all times while the vehicle is in motion. Island Party Bus is not responsible for injuries to guests who are not seated with seat belts fastened during transit.

  • Driver Responsibility

    The driver's primary responsibility (in addition to transporting you safely) is to safeguard the vehicle. The vehicle will never be left unattended during your time. Your driver is not allowed to "party" with you.

  • Delays

    Island Party Bus will not be held liable for delays due to weather, road, traffic or mechanical conditions, driver illness or any other conditions beyond our control.

  • Arrival Times

    If you are on a time schedule, please reserve your vehicle accordingly. The driver will not speed to your event or the next stop. Our drivers will only go as fast as the speed limit allows.

  • Alcohol

    BYOB. No alcoholic beverages are served by Island Party Bus or its employees. If someone in your party passes out due to excessive alcohol consumption, they will be vacated from the vehicle immediately. If Island Party Bus or its employees feel that a passenger is loud, disturbing, rude, unruly, dangerous, or disruptive to other passengers or the driver, that person may be removed from the vehicle at a safe location and authorities called. *** Our drivers will not purchase cigarettes or alcohol for clients.***

  • Drinking & Driving

    Island Party Bus will not be held liable for passengers who have consumed alcohol prior to, on board, or after the reservation is completed. Island Party Bus prefers NOT to drop passengers off at their personal vehicles when they have consumed alcohol. Please make arrangements so that no one in your party  is put in a position of driving under the influence.

  • Weapons

    Weapons are not allowed in Island Party Bus vehicles, even if you have a license/permit. Please leave them at home.

  • Lost Items

    Make sure you gather all personal items at the end of your reservation. This is your responsibility and Island Party Bus accepts absolutely no liability for any items left behind. If you leave something in the vehicle, we will be happy to return it the next day for a $25.00 travel fee.

  • Media

    All entertainment, including but not limited to CD's, DVD's, MP3's and Blu Ray's are to be solely provided and used by the client. Island Party Bus does not own the copyright to any media used by the client on board our vehicles. Island Party Bus will not be held liable for any copyright infringement. Island Party Bus will not be responsible for lost, missing or damaged media.

  • Missing Media

    Missing DVDs (property of Island Party Bus) will be charged a $50.00 replacement fee. If you remove our DVD's, please hand it to your driver to avoid charges.

  • Parking Arrangements

    If you want the vehicle(s) parked at a specific location, it will be your responsibility to have a space reserved. At the driver's discretion, they may decide the waiting area is unsafe and leave. It will be your responsibility to communicate with the driver and arrange an exact time for them to return. It will be your absolute responsibility to communicate directly and clearly to the driver where to go and when you want the vehicle to be back at the location.

  • Decorations

    Decorating is allowed but must be fully removed prior to the end of your reservation.

  • Masks

    For the safety of you, your guests, and our driver; masks must be worn at all times.
